  This is an article about Requirements for fixatives in gas chromatograph columns. If you are interested, please contact us!

Fixative fluids are a key component of gas chromatograph columns and are available in a wide variety of applications. The main advantage is that under normal conditions, HPLC vials the distribution isotherms of the sample components in the gas-liquid two phases are mostly linear, so it is easier to obtain symmetric peaks.
There are several requirements for the GC chromatographic column fixative:

1. It is liquid under operating conditions;

2. Low vapor pressure and good thermal stability;

3. It is chemically inert and cannot undergo any irreversible chemical reaction with the sample material, carrier and gas chromatograph carrier gas to be analyzed;

4. It has good selectivity and good separation ability for sample components with the same or similar boiling point. HPLC vials

This is the end of the introduction of Requirements for fixatives in gas chromatograph columns. I hope it can help you.
