The amount of sample in the 2ml VWR vials depends on what you do. If it is a headspace analysis, the upper limit of the sample volume is 80% of the volume of the vial so that there is enough headspace for sampling. Often the sample volume is 50% of the sample volume; if the liquid is injected, there are no strict requirements. If the sample size is small, a vial with an inner cannula can be used. The syringe insert depth of the autosampler is adjustable. Normally it defaults to a value. If you lower the value, the syringe will go down.
Or using an intubation is also a good idea. First take the ACE ultrasonic cleaning, and then dry it in the potassium permanganate peracetate lotion. However, the lotion is difficult to get in and it is not safe. In the EPA method, there is also ultrasound, dried and then taken to the muffle furnace for 450 degrees for three or four hours, but the 2ml VWR vials is easier to break.
