Why choose amber chromatography vials instead of clear ones?

Amber glass blocks UV light to protect light-sensitive samples from photodegradation. Clear vials are used for general samples where visual inspection of liquid volume is required. Both clear and amber vials adopt USP Type I borosilicate glass with low bleed and low extraction.

What is the difference between crimp top vials and 9-425 screw thread vials?

Crimp top vials (2ml) need a crimping tool to seal the cap, which delivers excellent tightness and is widely used for GC analysis. 9-425 screw thread vials are easier for manual opening and closing without extra tools, the mainstream choice for HPLC and LC-MS. We supply both types, including clear and amber glass versions.

What septum options do you offer for chromatography vial caps?

We supply PTFE/silicone, PTFE/butyl rubber septa. PTFE-silicone septa are most popular for general HPLC/GC work, with good resealing after needle puncture. Butyl rubber septa are suitable for special solvent resistance requirements. Custom septum materials are available for OEM orders.

Can you provide custom services for chromatography vials?
